A New Session, A New Dawning for Ohio

First and foremost, I would like to take a moment to sincerely thank you for giving me the great honor and privilege of serving as your voice in the People’s House. To have the opportunity to serve in the Ohio House of Representatives is extremely humbling, and I look forward to working with members on both sides of the aisle to create jobs, boost economic development and bring Ohio back to life.

I had the pleasure of growing up in northeast Ohio, where my husband and I decided to raise our children. I am blessed to be able to give back to the community that has given my family so much throughout the years. To me, the 17th Ohio House District represents everything that is great about the state of Ohio—the people, the businesses and the sense of unity and resilience even in the most difficult of economies.

Speaker Bill Batchelder has appointed me to serve on four House committees during the 129th General Assembly, which will allow me to fully delve into the issues that are most important to Ohioans. I feel very fortunate to have been selected to serve on the Economic and Small Business Development, Finance and Appropriations, Education, and Public Utilities committees and encourage you to provide me with your thoughts and opinions about these policy areas.
