Why: A gathering to pray for our country, it's citizens, our elected and a return to founding principles which revered God as an inspiration and Natural Law as the basis of freedom for all.

Toledo, Ohio (May 3, 2010) Our courts may try to dictate that a National Day of Prayer is unconstitutional. http://liveshots.blog... But, one of our most revered freedoms is to pray and worship as we please.

So, again we will gather. While we have much to be concerned about, we also have much to be thankful for. And, on a National Day of Prayer, we are called to be humble ourselves, with others in the country and community, for healing and inspiration.

Local pastors will be speaking. Confirmed include:

David "PREZ" Washington from Berean Home Fellowship and
Pastor Ted Slater from Bethel AG in Perrysburg
Pastor Carlos Hernandez from Solid Rock Church
Pastor Josh Hestor from Vision

Pastor Daniel W. Bellavia from First Baptist Church of Greater Toledo

A collection will be taken and donated to heroes in Action, a Calvary Christian ministry for military and their families.

Attendees are asked to bring their own lawn chairs or blankets for the grass, as there will be no seating available.
