Library and NW Buckeye Chapter of BetterInvesting™ partner to educate public on Beating Average Stock Returns

(Released October 12, 2010) – The Northwest Buckeye Chapter of BetterInvesting ™ (National Association of Investors Corporation) teams with the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library’s Business Technology department to present a FREE program on investing scheduled from 3-5 p.m. this Saturday, October 16 in the McMaster Center of Main Library, 325 Michigan St. (Second floor)


The program, titled Beating Average Stock Returns with Quality Companies, will educate participants about:


· Proven principles of long-term investing

· How to find, research and invest in quality companies

· Evaluating what is a reasonable price for purchasing stock in quality companies


Attendees will also view a demonstration of software that quickly evaluates companies and stock prices. Also, view Library resources for evaluating stocks.


BetterInvesting™ is a non-profit organization providing education to individual and club investors. The directors of the Northwest Buckeye Chapter are volunteers and receive no compensation. They have used these principles and freely teach investors on how to get better results.
