Rep. Boose to Serve as Vice Chair of House Committee

COLUMBUS—State Representative Terry Boose (R-Norwalk) today was appointed by Ohio House Speaker William G. Batchelder (R-Medina) to serve as vice chair of the House Local Government Committee. He will also serve on the Ways and Means Committee and the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee.

“It is a privilege to serve as vice chair of the Local Government Committee, and I will strive to improve our community for the citizens of the 58th Ohio House District,” said Rep. Boose. “There is much work to be done during the 129th General Assembly, and I am eager to do my part to bring about a more attractive, economically competitive Ohio.”

Rep. Boose is currently serving his second term as representative of the 58th District, which includes portions of Seneca, Huron and Lorain counties. He previously served as a Huron County commissioner and as president of the Solid Waste District. He also was a member of the Private Industry Council, Farmland Preservation Committee and Data Processing Board.
