City of Youngstown Employees' Salaries Added to Searchable Database

April 25, 2011- COLUMBUS, Ohio - The Buckeye Institute for Public Policy Solutions today released Local Salary data from 2008-2010 for the City of Youngstown.

Data from the City of Youngstown shows the city paid more than $43,373,000 in gross wages, with overtime pay consuming nearly $3,500,000. Twenty-one employees earned more than $20,000 in overtime, with the highest paid city employee earning $100,486, including over $39,000 in overtime pay.

The Local Salary database is one of five searchable salary databases including State Salary, Teacher Salary, Higher Ed Salary and Federal Salary, available on the Buckeye Institute's website. Since the website's launch on April 30, 2010, over 417,000 visitors have conducted more than 2,737,000 data searches.
