Toledo Mayor D. Michael Collins has issued a proclamation naming April as Compassion Month in the City of Toledo. This declaration is part of the City’s effort to be a participant in the Campaign for Compassionate Cities.
There are a number of events planned during the month of April as part of Compassion Month, including:
Friday morning, April 25 - Signing Ceremony at Government Center with Press Conference and Reception
Friday, April 25 noon to 8 PM - Compassion Networking Convention at Seagate Convention Center - compassion providers, arts and music
Community Service Days throughout April, culminating April 25 – 27
Sunday, 27 April, 4 – 7 PM, 13th Annual MultiFaith Banquet - Heroes of Compassion; Franciscan Center, Lourdes University
