Pregnancy Resource Center Resolution

COLUMBUS—State Representatives Barbara Sears (R-Monclova Township) and Peter Stautberg (R-Cincinnati) announced the introduction of House Concurrent Resolution 52 to honor the generosity and work of Ohio’s more than 125 pregnancy centers statewide.

Ohio’s pregnancy centers offer life-affirming choices to women facing unplanned pregnancies, but they also equip women with resources that will enable them to effectively care for their babies for up to 24 months after birth. The centers provide free services to women, men, and children of every religion, race, and socio-economic status. These centers operate off of donations, and are staffed mostly by volunteers.

Representative Sears stated: ““Pregnancy centers offer a place of help and hope for women in difficult situations, by lending not only the compassion but practical resources and tools; they are an important part of our communities” said Representative Sears. Representative Stautberg added: “This resolution will create a greater awareness of the important services these centers offer and the benefit they provide to our community, and I am happy to honor their great work.”
